Can it be? According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, Ala., there’s a slight chance that parts of Northern Alabama could experience a little snow tonight and into tomorrow.
We know… we said the “S” word, but don’t panic. The snow would likely make a quick appearance in between rainfall as an Arctic front moves through the area. No accumulation is expected, but it could make for a pretty sight.
With weather dipping into the low 40s and high 30s Wednesday night, residents should be prepared for quite the chilly snap—whether there are snowflakes or not—and should plan accordingly. AL.com reports that forecasters expect this latest system to bring some of the coldest air of the season. Highs on Friday may not make it out of the 30s in north Alabama and 40s into south Alabama.
