By Southern Living

A good quotation hums in your ears. It resonates widely and has the potential to harmonize with emotion, causing all who hear it to reach for their handkerchiefs. These quotes are great for your wedding day, but they are even better for penning in calligraphy on your invitations. Brides and grooms spend hours scouring their favorite books and songs for readings for their wedding day, but another great place for a beautiful quote is the wedding invitation. It is a keepsake that proclaims your love and commitment, and the quotes should too. Whether the couple is super sentimental or a little cheeky, these quotations promise just the right turn of phrase. Sometimes we look to our favorite poets, singers, and playwrights for wisdom, but the right quotation can come from anywhere. You'll know it's right when it resonates. You may not hear bells, but you'll know when you find the quote with just the right words to encapsulate your love, your relationship, and the anticipation of your wedding day.
