So you've set your sights on an Outer Banks wedding. That means you've got your eyes set on some pretty amazing sights, indeed. The deep blue waters, the sand, those sunsets. There's a whole lot to love on this special string of islands off of the North Carolina coast.

Now, for those looking to say "I do" in the OBX, may we suggest this picture-perfect gazebo at the Sanderling Resort in Duck, North Carolina, perched above the Currituck Sound?

The AAA-Four Diamond property has a variety of stellar spots to tie the knot, but The Pavilion, which extends to the gazebo pictured above, steals the show. Beyond the beautiful gazebo, The Pavilion itself was renovated in 2018, and features climate-controlled interiors with plenty of oversize windows to make way for breathtaking views of the water and to allow natural light to stream in. The waterfront venue now includes a deck that can hold up to 180 of your nearest and dearest—the venue capacity for the indoor space is also 180 people— with a clear view of the gazebo as you get married. Worth noting: Though a wedding ceremony in the gazebo proper is possible, most guests opt to hold the ceremony on the beach itself or on the event lawn and deck. Even so, the lucky couple can savor private moments together in the gazebo and pose for breathtaking wedding photos on the structure.
