Introduced through mutual friends in 2011, Caroline Campbell and Brett Borders quickly knew a future was in the cards for them, despite their deep-rooted football rivalries (Alabama and Auburn, of course). While dating, the couple enjoyed spending time at Caroline’s family beach house in Florida, so it was only fitting that Brett propose in a place that held so many fond memories.
The wedding ceremony was held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Tallahassee, Florida, with the reception following at the carriage house of Goodwood Museum & Gardens. Sprawling, moss-draped oak trees and palmetto bushes, coupled with a menu of Apalachicola oysters, shrimp and grits and biscuit bar, gave a true Southern nod to the bride and groom’s heritage. The couple’s special day was captured through the lenses of Black and Hue Photography. For more photos, visit our gallery.
