This Houston Wedding Had a Texas-Sized Dessert Table
The couple’s Big Day seamlessly melded high-end touches with relaxed décor that allowed the natural Texas countryside to take center stage. Scroll on to swoon over their sweet-filled Houston affair beautifully captured by Kati Hewitt Photography.
The Bride and Groom
Even though they met up North, Brittany and Rolf quickly became transplant Southerners. Starting their lives together in Kentucky before moving to Texas, these two merged their Brazilian and Vermont backgrounds with their newfound Southern personalities to create a formal yet relaxed Houston event.
French Flair Meets Texas Elegance
At first glance, you might think these two said, “I do” in the French countryside. In reality, the couple introduced guests from around the world to sophisticated yet relaxed Texas style for the perfect weekend escape at The Clubs at Houston Oaks.
Perfectly Paired Papers
The couple’s wedding vision beamed from the start, with timeless wedding stationary that reflected the soft, metallic tones and cream styling that would subtly shine throughout their Big Day.
Dazzling Emerald Cut Design
Brittany added layers of soft curves to her emerald cut diamond creating a unique, antique style.
An Ethereal Layered Look
The bride’s fairytale-style dress fit in flawlessly with her setting and vision, blending her organic bridal style with a bit of ball gown grandeur.
Graceful Floral Hairpiece
Easy yet eye-catching, Brittany’s floral hairpiece tied in with the day’s white floral and draping greenery designs.
Beaming Bridal Whites
Brittany’s bridal ensemble was accented by gaping greenery and symphony of white florals in her bouquet and ceremony décor.
Classic White Boutonniere
The groom’s lapel looked the part complementing his bride’s white bouquet with a single cream flower.
Serene Chapel Ceremony
Surrounded by friends and family, Brittany and Rolf made it official in front of a romantic sanctuary relocated from France and rebuilt stone for stone in the heart of Texas.
After the big “I do,” the party made its way to the pavilion where guests were greeted by neutral, nature-inspired décor.
Reception tables were draped in greenery and dotted with simple white flowers and candles.
The day’s green and white palette continued throughout the space, creating an organic ambiance for dinner and dancing.
Curated Collection of Decadent Confections
A table brimming with bridal sweets was the obvious showstopper at the couple’s reception. A priority for the bride from day one, the dessert table overflowed with sweet treats, including everything from stylish wedding cakes to Brazilian truffles.
Traditional Wedding Style
Three tiers of beautiful white buttercream decorated with pretty cream peonies added a touch of classic design to the jaw-dropping dessert table.
A petite white cake with effortlessly placed berries offered a simple statement cake to the assortment of sweets.
This stunning chocolate design was a standout sweet against the table’s white and pastel palette of desserts.
Tiers of brilliantly designed Brazilian truffles were scatted throughout the table of traditional wedding sweets, playing homage to the groom’s heritage.
Favors Full of Meaning
The newlyweds gifted guests with favors showcasing their individual and joint pasts. A display of traditional Brazilian favors, Vermont syrup, and bottles of Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon made sure guests didn’t leave empty handed while paying homage to their roots.
Sealed with a Sparkle
The couple kissed their Big Day goodbye surrounded by sparklers and love.
Cheers to the vendor team that brought their day to life!
