This Couple Got Married in a Georgia Supermarket on Thanksgiving Day
Harvey's Supermarket in Albany, Georgia, isn't a traditional wedding venue, but Mary and Charles Larry Tinson's love story is anything but ordinary.
The couple said "I do" at their local grocery store on Thanksgiving Day, a tribute to their real-life reunion spot four years prior.
According to ABC News, it all started back in 2012 when Charles Larry returned home from a tour in Afghanistan. He ran out to grab some cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving dinner and spotted a familiar face among the crowd of last-minute shoppers.
"I heard someone say 'Hey, girl,' and I turned around and said 'Oh my God, Larry? I haven't seen you in over 20-something years," Mary told ABC.
The longtime friends started dating shortly after, and when they got engaged, Charles Larry immediately suggested Harvey's as their venue. The nuptials took place on Thanksgiving Day in front of 70 guests, and featured a wedding cake with—yep, you guessed it—fresh cranberries!
It's safe to say what Mary and Charles Larry are thankful for this year. Congrats to the happy couple!
