Texas Charm Meets Chateau Splendor
Kala Nesbitt and Henry Frazier lived paralleled lives for 28 years without even knowing it—both of them grew up in the same hometown, and eventually moved to Houston. And as fate would have it, a friend introduced the Kala and Henry, who immediately knew they were meant to be together.
Both the ceremony and reception were held at the lovely Chateau Cocomar in Houston, Texas.
The Wedding Gown
The bride wore a strapless, trumpet-shaped lace and tulle gown from Weddings By Debbie.
The Bride’s Shoes
For some added sparkle to her ensemble, Kala wore crystal-encrusted Christian Louboutin heels.
Henry and his groomsmen sported black tuxes with bowties and cream-colored boutonnieres.
The Bridesmaid Dresses
Kala’s bridal party wore long, ebony colored dresses also from Weddings by Debbie.
The Walk Down the Aisle
“I was honored to have my uncle walk me down the aisle and my father-in-law as our minister. Our ceremony was small, intimate, and full of love,” said the bride.
The Ceremony Flowers
Magenta and purple orchids from Flora and Eventi added a pop of color and romance to the wedding ceremony.
The Bridesmaid Bouquets
Kala's bridesmaids held small bouquets of white roses arranged by Flora and Eventi.
“My favorite details of the event design were my array of magenta and purple orchids and floating candle lights that were hovering over the wedding party table. I sketched exactly what I wanted and my florist was able to carry out my vision,” said the bride.
The Bride’s Cake
Masterful Cakes crafted a four-tier confection featuring a cascade of orchid blooms and topped with the couple's monogram.
“Although we were in an extraordinary and luxurious venue, our guests were able to take away a feel good, Texas-fair-style candied apple as their parting favor,” said the bride.
The couple’s guests lined the walkway and waved farewell with sparklers as the newlyweds parted the reception.
