The Couple
Kala Nesbitt and Henry Frazier lived paralleled lives for 28 years without even knowing it—both of them grew up in the same hometown, and eventually moved to Houston. And as fate would have it, a friend introduced the Kala and Henry, who immediately knew they were meant to be together.

The Walk Down the Aisle
“I was honored to have my uncle walk me down the aisle and my father-in-law as our minister. Our ceremony was small, intimate, and full of love,” said the bride.

Magenta and purple orchids from Flora and Eventi added a pop of color and romance to the wedding ceremony.

Reception Decor
“My favorite details of the event design were my array of magenta and purple orchids and floating candle lights that were hovering over the wedding party table. I sketched exactly what I wanted and my florist was able to carry out my vision,” said the bride.

The Bride’s Cake
Masterful Cakes crafted a four-tier confection featuring a cascade of orchid blooms and topped with the couple's monogram.

The Favors
“Although we were in an extraordinary and luxurious venue, our guests were able to take away a feel good, Texas-fair-style candied apple as their parting favor,” said the bride.

The Sendoff
The couple’s guests lined the walkway and waved farewell with sparklers as the newlyweds parted the reception.
