Dreamy Chesapeake Bay Wedding
A gorgeous ocean backdrop, classic details, and outstanding floral décor round out this romantic Chesapeake Bay wedding.
Despite having attended the same small, liberal arts college, Emily Karsnak and Stephen Kendrick didn't meet until they were introduced by a mutual friend while living in Washington, D.C. They instantly hit it off and quickly became best friends.
The couple’s traditional style invitations featured an embossed border with gold and black text.
Emily's bouquet was a romantic arrangement of rusty pink-, yellow-, and blush-colored blooms, with cascading greenery. Jeanne Ha of Park Florist brought Emily's vision to life.
The Bride's Shoes
The bride wore dainty peep-toe Badgley Mischka pumps, embellished with gemstone appliques.
The bride wore delicate, cluster earrings that added a subtle sparkle to her classic wedding gown.
The bridesmaids wore peachy pink dresses of varying styles from Weddington Way, and finished their look with large jeweled statement necklaces.
Stephen and his five groomsmen wore slate colored suits with matching polka dotted ties.
Park Florist created a simple yet elegant white rose boutonniere that included peachy accents to complement the groom's polka dotted tie.
Emily and Stephen exchanged their vows on one of the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club’s intimate outdoor lawns.
Metal lanterns filled with luscious, overflowing blooms lined the ceremony aisle, adding a touch of color to the scenic backdrop.
The waterfront venue allowed for guests to mingle both indoors and out. Tables were decorated with white linens and natural-colored runners that captured the casual elegance of the night.
The Table Setting
Gold table numbers paired with beautiful flower arrangements added a bit of sparkle to each table at the reception.
The Wedding Cake
Crafted by local bakery, Cakes by Rachael, the bride’s cake was a five layer white cake with fruit filling and was topped with classic white icing.
At the reception, the bride and groom's seats were distinguished by hand painted wooden nameplates.
