Songs You’ll Only Hear at a Southern Wedding
Think I’ll slip on down to the oasis.
Is it really a Southern wedding without “Friends in Low Places”? We don’t think so either. From toe-tappers to sweet melodies made for a first dance, these wedding songs should be on your playlist. We’re sure it comes as no surprise that most of our favorite first dance wedding songs are of the country genre. Dolly, George, and Johnny all have wedding songs that make great first dance options. A few of our favorite country first dance songs even include new classics like “From This Moment On” by Shania Twain and “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts. From tunes that will get everyone on the dance floor to ballads made for a first dance, these country wedding songs are just about as Southern as they come.
