[MUSIC] I'm Morgan Murphy, I have traveled 10000 miles this summer to find the very best food in the South. Come along with me as I show you the South's best restaurants off the eaten path. I'm Morgan Murphy, you can call me Morgan Tomato Murphy today. I'm really off the eaten path here in Louisville, Kentucky at Lynn. [MUSIC] Paradise Cafe. Don't come here unless you're prepared to have some fun. So, I'm here at Lynn's Paradise Cafe with Patty Schnatter. Patty, tell me about how old is Lynn's Paradise Cafe? Lynn's will be 20 years old on 3rd of August, and Well happy birthday. Thank you. Looking forward to it. And we started on Frankfurt Avenue in a very small building. Lynn lived upstairs. And we, the dinettes you noticed when you were inside are donated many times. But the first dinette that came into the restaurant came out of Lynn's apartment. Because she needed more tables in the restaurant. That's great. A true bootstrap entrepreneur. Absolutely. And then we moved into this building in 1991. So, we have been in this building for quite sometime. Today is super-hero day and all our waitresses are dressed as their favorite super hero which I think that is just so cool. Do you have themes a lot? We have theme Thursday with the waitstaff and any of our customers are welcome to dress also on the theme Thursday if they want to, and occasionally they do. Wow. Every year on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day we have an A Pajama Party. And everybody wears their pajamas. Rock out. So you. Yeah, you can come. Can come get your French toast in your pajamas. Roll right out of bed and come on in. It's a perfect restaurant for me. [LAUGH] It's a party here every day. [MUSIC] I cannot wait to dig in. Tell me about this, this salad. It looks like chicken and blue cheese. It's chicken and blue cheese, Granny Smith apples. And, romaine lettuce, with a sweet dressing. Oh, this smells, this is so fresh and delicious, I cannot wait to dig in. Dig in, dig in. [MUSIC] So this is beautiful, and it smells, it smells so much like fresh orange juice. What is it? It is fresh. [MUSIC] Fresh squeeze orange juice with champagne. It's our famous Mimosa and I have a cranberry Martini. Well, it's dark out. It is somewhere. Cheers. Cheers to you. Thanks for coming in. Oh, great to be here. [MUSIC] Man, what a meal, and it is so much fun. If you wanna a great time, come down to Lynn's Paradise Cafe in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm Morgan Murphy and you've been watching off the Eaten Path.
