If Mama's about to send you over the edge, repeat after us: Valentine's Elopement Event. That's right. It's not a romance package. It's not a wedding package. It's a no-fuss elopement package at Forrest Hills Mountain Resort for happy couples who would rather spend their time honeymooning in the north Georgia mountains than arguing about what goes on the cocktail napkins and trying to decide whether Aunt Mertis will make the guest list. A rustic property between beautiful Amicalola Falls and charming Dahlonega in Georgia's wine country, Forrest Hills offers elopement packages year-round, but for the Valentine's event, you can choose from the following options: Ceremony Only: $150 Available Friday 2/14 from Noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday 2/15 from Noon to 6 p.m. Ceremony + Photography: $299 Available Friday 2/14 from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday 2/15 from 1 to 5 p.m. Ceremony + Photography + Mini Cake + Champagne Toast: $350 Available Friday 2/14 from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday 2/15 from 1 to 5 p.m. You and your intended can bring up to 8 people with you (that's a party of 10 total, including the bride and groom). Guests can rent rooms at the resort (though you and your true love might prefer a honeymoon cabin). Add-ons, like a horse-drawn carriage for the bride and groom or a special dinner, are available for an extra fee. Forrest Hills will lend you a silk bouquet, or you can bring live flowers with you. One word of advice: Be prompt for everything. You won't be the only twosome tying the knot during the Elopement Event, so let's stick to the schedule, future Mr. and Mrs.! Curious?
