Plus an insider tip to make them taste even better.

New Orleans may be 640-some miles away from Disney World but geography isn't going to stop hungry travelers from getting their beignets fix.

If you head over to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside you can feast on the Mardi Gras staple with an alcohol-infused twist. "There's a NEW SECRET MENU item in town! #DisneyWorld's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort has jazzed up its boozy beignets even MORE with Godiva chocolate liqueur!!" a post from March 30th on the popular Disney Food Blog Instagram account reads (Worth noting: the Disney Food Blog website and social media handles are not associated with the Walt Disney Company). You can order a trio of the beignets at Scat Cat's Club, a jazz lounge featuring live music.

In speaking with an official Disney representative, Southern Living clarified that the Baton Rouge Beignets aren't technically an off-menu secret. The beignets are listed on the menu with other liqueur options stated — Baileys, Kahlúa, or RumChata — while Godiva Liqueur is only available upon request. Godiva + beignets? You don't have to sprinkle us in powdered sugar twice.

Clandestine confection or otherwise, we've sure got a hankering for this Disney World delight.
