Cornhole Fans, There’s a New Tailgating Game in Town
It’s tailgate tee time!
Every southerner knows that no bar patio, parking lot tailgate, or day at the beach is complete without a game of cornhole. Well, the ever-beloved tailgate staple may soon have some competition thanks to the arrival of Beer Pong Golf.

Launched on Kickstarter on Saturday, August 5th, the game marries beer pong with golf. To play, you aim to putt your golf ball into one of the turf-covered board’s ten holes, which hold any standard plastic cup. The basic game will set you back $75 for a board, chip mat, and six golf balls with an estimated delivery date of this October. (Bundled options are also available for purchase.) See the game in action below.
With two Florence, South Carolina brothers at the helm, the duo has already beat us to brainstorming the game-day customization possibilities. Their campaign features boards with banners hailing Roll Tide, Clemson Tigers, Vanderbilt Commodores, and more. But hey — that got us thinking — those white decals could sure use some crimson red or purple and gold spraypaint, no?
