Every year when November rolls around, we prep to fill our stomachs with feats of turkey and mashed potatoes by watching our favorite classic Thanksgiving movie, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

This year, the beloved film will air on Wednesday, November 22nd at 8 p.m. EST on ABC. Young kids who have never seen the movie before will love the heartwarming story, and parents will be filled with nostalgia watching the Peanuts gang, making this the perfect movie night pick for the whole family.

Every time we watch, we love laughing along with Charlie Brown, Linus, Snoopy, and Woodstock, as Charlie struggles to prepare dinner for Peppermint Patty, a rather demanding guest, and her friends when they unexpectedly show up for dinner.

While the feast that Charlie pulls together is quite unconventional, he goes to incredible lengths to ensure that everyone is happy and together celebrating. The movie shows that, at the end of the day, giving thanks with loved ones is really the true meaning of the holiday, not that every dish on the table is picture-perfect.
