Ever since she was first presented to the world by her loving parents outside the Lindo Wing in London in May 2015, Princess Charlotte has been winning (and stealing) hearts all over the world.

Growing to look more like Prince William and Kate Middleton every day, Princess Charlotte is quickly becoming a strong contender to rival her brother, Prince George, for the title of ‘cutest royal’. Her grandmother certainly seems to think so!

“The Queen was really thrilled that it was a little girl” Kate revealed during her first solo TV interview in honour of the Queen’s 90th birthday. “I think as soon as we came back here to Kensington she was one of our first visitors here.”

This might be our favourite picture of Charlotte, ever! Doesn’t she look lovely as flower girl for aunty Pippa’s wedding? The look certainly suits her.

The Duchess of Cambridge added, “It’s very special having a new little girl”. She also revealed in the ITV interview that she was pleased Prince George had a new little sibling to play with. “I feel very, very lucky that George has got a little sister” Kate said.

Princess Charlotte also seems to be thrilled she’s got a big brother! Kate revealed that Princess Charlotte loves her older brother and ‘she always wants to have a play date with George’.

The little royal is growing up to be ‘extremely chatty’ according to her mum, although she’s not quite as boisterous as her brother.

Here we look at our favourite pictures of the adorable Princess Charlotte so far…

Our next glimpse of the little Princess came in July 2015 when she was christened Princess Charlotte of Cambridge at the Church of St Mary Magdalene. With her little brother in tow, Charlotte was pushed in her silver cross pram by Kate Middleton whilst crowds waited to see her.

September 2016

September marked an big and important month for Princess Charlotte as she embarked on her first official royal tour.

In addition to being Charlotte’s first time leaving the country on official business, it was also the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first royal tour as a family. They visited India and Bhutan earlier in the year, and confessed to missing George and Charlotte ‘very much’.

Then, after being pictured arriving in Canada as a family, George and Charlotte were kept out of the limelight. However, they were snapped mid-way through the tour. They attended a children’s party for military families with their parents hosted at Victoria House.

Princess Charlotte melted hearts at the party. Charlotte played with animals, instruments, and cuddled up to Kate. She also got excited about the number of balloons on display! Prince William could be heard saying “are we going to go pop?” while his daughter played with balloon sculptures and then asked her: “Would you like a balloon, Charlotte?”

Princess Charlotte also said her first words at the party. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge told guests that the toddler is teething and ‘always hungry’.

It’s the exact same one that her brother Prince George wore when he went to meet Princess Charlotte at the hospital for the first time in 2015! It’s nice to see that Kate still appreciates the value of hand-me-downs when it comes to the little Prince and Princess!
