The Bond Between Mothers and Daughters Is The Strongest Possible, According To Science
While we may not always see eye to eye and everything, most of us will admit we don't know what we would do without our mom.
From being a tricky teen to looking after your mother in her old age, there's no relationship stronger than a mother daughter bond. And now there's the scientific research to prove it.
In a study to work out why depression and other mood disorders are often passed from moms to daughters, scientists found that the two share a structure of the brain that regulates emotions.
"This association was significantly greater than mother–son, father–daughter, and father–son associations." Said researchers in The Journal of Neuroscience.
Put simply… Women are much more able to relate to their mothers emotions than anybody else, and visa versa.
