Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Leaving Kensington Palace?
According to a new report, the couple is thinking about moving to the English countryside.
Sure, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning the most-buzzed about wedding of 2018, but that isn't stopping them from making other big plans. According to a new report from The Sun, the couple is considering purchasing and renovating Beaconsfield Farm in Great Tew, Oxfordshire, in the Cotswolds.
The possible draw? The Cotswolds, which is in south central England, is known for its rolling hills, medieval towns, and historic homes (bothThe Holiday and Bridget Jones’s Diary were filmed there, so chances are you've seen the place). Also, David and Victoria Beckham, who attended the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, have a home nearby.
While Kensington Palace hasn’t commented on the news, it wouldn’t be a big surprise if the couple decided to get a place that's all their own. William and Kate lived in Anmer Hall in Norfolk—which the Queen gifted to them—for a few years before moving back to Kensington Palace to fulfill their royal duties.
Harry and Meghan currently live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace—where they got engaged over a roast chicken dinner—and are neighbors with William and Kate. If they are making a move, we hope they'll share pics of their new place. We love Meghan's Toronto home (check it out below!).
