Prince George's New Birthday Portrait Is Here — and His Toothy Smile Is Pure Joy!
Happy birthday, Prince George!
To celebrate the royal's fourth birthday on Saturday, his parents Prince William and Princess Kate released a new photo, just as they did for his little sister Princess Charlotte's second birthday in May.
"The Duke and Duchess are very pleased to share this lovely picture as they celebrate Prince George's fourth birthday, and would like to thank everyone for all of the kind messages they have received," the statement said.
Prince George is all smiles with his toothy grin in the adorable photo, which was taken at the royal family's home of Kensington Palace at the end of June by Chris Jackson, Getty Images Royal Photographer. And he's looking so grown-up in his blue-and-white striped button-down shirt.
He may be only 4 years old, but Prince George already has a personality fit for a king. He knows how to charm a crowd, he's got a naughty side (according to mom!), he loves to go fast, he has inherited his grandfather Prince Charles' royal walk and he's got some serious style!
The royal couple has released official portraits for every one of George's birthdays. When he turned 1, they shared beautiful photos of the future king and his parents taken at London's Natural History Museum in a butterfly exhibit.
For his second birthday, they released an adorable photo taken by Mario Testino on the day of Princess Charlotte's christening. The candid shot captured a fun moment between father and son.
And for his third birthday last year, they released four too-cute photos of chubby-cheeked George standing on a swing, walking in the garden and playing with the family dog, Lupo.
