The pair, who wed on May 20, have been flying around the globe for the last 10 days as part of their dream honeymoon, first stopping at the Pacific island of Tetiaroa, where they stayed in the glamorous retreat known as The Brando. The private island and eco-friendly resort offered the pair a bit of relaxation and plenty of adventure thanks to its abundance of activities to choose from including bicycling, snorkeling, diving, and paddle boarding.
The contemporary Park Hyatt Sydney offers visitors a heated rooftop pool with spectacular harbor views. The hotel’s 155 zen-sleek rooms and suites are each outfitted with neutral hues, oversized windows, marble baths, balconies, and Aboriginal art. The Park Hyatt Sydney even offers personal butlers around the clock.
The newlyweds have also remained active during their Australian stopover. Sydney resident Steven Beale told the Sydney Morning Herald that he spotted the pair looking fit as ever while taking an early morning stroll along the harbor. "I walked past her at the foot of the Harbour Bridge with her husband and, I think, a personal trainer," Beale said.
Another onlooker noted: "She was impressively keeping up with her husband and trainer, or guard dude. They seemed like they were loving running across the bridge and looking around."
Following their workout, Matthews and Middleton boarded a private seaplane and were whisked away to the Cottage Point Inn for lunch. "It's chaos," restaurant owner Ally Olesen told the Herald. "We're surprised and flattered they chose us."
