The bowl trend is far from over: we’ve been eating our weight in grain bowls, acai bowls, and smoothie bowls for a while now. But Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A just took it one step further with their first breakfast bowl, the Hash Brown Scramble.
Not for the faint of heart, this hearty option is composed of Chick-fil-A’s signature tot-style hash browns, scrambled eggs, a blend of Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, jalapeño salsa, and a choice of their classic sliced chicken nuggets or sausage. TBH, they had us at "tot-style hash browns," but this is a bowl we'd skip our cold cereal for.
It's a substantial breakfast offering 450 calories and a whopping 30 grams of protein when made with nuggets. Customers can choose to enjoy the combo as a breakfast bowl or a burrito which means the Hash Brown Scramble knocks the current Breakfast Burrito off the menu. Both start at $3.49.
Amanda Norris, senior director of menu development, said in a statement “at Chick-fil-A, we understand the importance of breakfast and want to provide a wide range of options to our guests who are looking for a fast and delicious breakfast.”
After successful testing in a few markets in 2016 and 2017, the bowl and burrito launch nationwide today.

Surely we can all agree Chick-fil-A knows how to keep us all pretty happy on the run.
