See the literary classic come to life (again!) this Thanksgiving.

Anne of Green Gables is here to wish you another happy Thanksgiving. On Turkey Day, the iconic book comes to life in the PBS sequel, Anne of Green Gables—The Good Stars. Last year, the first installment of the upcoming three-part TV movie aired on Thanksgiving. PBS is showing the first film just before premiering the latest release.

"We are excited to bring Anne of Green Gables back to our viewers with a second installment, as it continues to be a delightful addition to our Thanksgiving lineup," said Beth Hoppe, PBS's chief programming executive and general manager of general audience programming, in a press release. "Anne of Green Gables continues to provide our viewers with family-friendly programming year-round, especially during the holiday season."

Viewers will watch Anne celebrate her 13th birthday and see her deal with difficult situations and relationships, particularly with her friend Gilbert Blythe. On Thursday, PBS released the official trailer for the film, which shows Anne (played by Ella Ballentine) taking on life as a teen.

"One part of me wants to be 12 again," Ballentine says as Anne in the promotional clip. "And the other part... I don't even know what the other part wants!"

And during a conversation with Matthew Cuthbert, played by Martin Sheen, Anne all-too-relatably shares what life is like as a teen: "It's much more complicated than even I imagined."

Anne of Green Gables—The Good Stars airs at 8 p.m. ET on PBS. And Anne fans can get excited for the third installment, Anne of Green Gables—Fire & Dew, premiering on PBS next year.
