This year, the bestselling book overall and for teens and kids was Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling—hardly a surprise, considering it’s a continuation of the beloved children’s series. Mysteries and thrillers stood out, with nine out of 20 books on the overall list in that category. Additionally, the bestselling debut novel was Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney’s The Nest. As for the kids and teens list, over half of the bestsellers were part of a series, and three books on the list were Harry Potter-related.

Take a look at both lists below, and learn more about them on Amazon.
