Tribble Reese of CMT's Sweet Home Alabama stops by for a food tasting in our Test Kitchen.
Hi, I'm Rebecca Gordon from the Southern Living test kitchen. We had Tribble Reese from CMTs Sweet Home Alabama stop by with his mom, and we had a chance to get to know the South's most eligible bachelor. My mom's favorite dish, and I have to have it every time I come home is her famous spaghetti. It is dynamite. It's just incredible. It's pretty much the only reason I go home. [LAUGH] The best piece of dating advice that my mom every gave me was to have a base on honesty. You know that trust, that foundation has got to be there. Because if it's not whatever love and emotion and chemistry builds around it. it's still gonna crumble. So, the trust and the, you know, that trust foundation is just of utmost importance. The thing I love about living in the south is my mom, you know, she raised me to be the southern gentleman. While I wasn't, you know, raised on a farm, I still have that, south, southern manners. [MUSIC] And those morals and those values and they've made me the man that I am today. It's unbelievable to me that you can go to a city, you know, up north and say hi to somebody and they don't even respond. Down here, you know, people go out of their way, to knock you down and say, to say hey. I mean I love that cuz that's really who I am. Some of these girls from the city have never even had doors opened for them, have not had the chair pulled out for them. So, I mean, they're like, what is he doing? Like, you know, it's almost like I'm going over the top and I'm just like no, this is how I treat, you know, anybody. My mom, my grandmother, my sister. You stand yourself out if you can have that Southern charm and those Southern morals. This is Tribble Reese signing off. It was so good to see you. Lights out, baby baby. We're done. Thank you all for everything. Thank you so much. Bye. Take care.
