Step 1. Prep oven and filling

To start the recipe, ensure you preheat your oven to 350°F so the oven is ready to bake when you finish assembling the filling.

Melt your butter in a microwave-safe bowl, and set aside. Take your graham crackers and pretzels, and crush lightly until they are in smaller pieces. This step can be done quickly in a few ways: with a few pulses of a food processor, putting ingredients in a large zip-top bag and rolling over them a few times with a rolling pin, or putting the ingredients in a large zip-top bag and dropping them with a bit of force on your counter a few times until the pieces are noticeably smaller.

Step 2. Mix ingredients

Add all the filling ingredients to a large bowl and stir until everything is well combined. It might look a little messy, but that is completely normal!

Step 3. Fill and bake

Add this filling to the premade pie shell, and level the filling to make even on top. Place in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown and the filling looks set.

Depending on how your oven bakes, the timing could be shorter, so keep your eye on the pie as timing gets close to 40 minutes.

  • 1 (10-inch) frozen piecrust or 1 (9-inch) deep dish piecrust

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  • 1 cup pretzels, crushed

  • 1 cup graham crackers, crushed

  • 1 cup shredded coconut

  • 1 cup pecan pieces

  • 1 cup caramel bits

  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Heat butter in a microwave-safe bowl until completely melted. Crush pretzels and graham crackers into small pieces. Combine all filling ingredients (chocolate chips, pretzels, graham crackers, coconut, pecans, caramel bits, butter, and sweetened condensed milk) in a large bowl until well blended.

  3. Pour the entire filling into a frozen pie crust, and bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes or until the pie is set and the top is golden brown. Let pie cool for 15 minutes before cutting and serving.
