Wondering how to grill flat iron steak? Just preheat your grill to about 450˚ and cook the steak, turning occasionally, for 8-10 minutes. Don’t forget to let it rest before digging in. This will allow the juices to soak into the steak, making it incredibly tender and moist. Of course, don’t forget to top it off with our delicious charred tomato relish. The acidity of the relish and the fattiness of the meat combines to make one delectable dish.

How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat grill to medium-high (about 450°F), or heat a grill pan over medium-high. Rub steak with oil, kosher salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Slice steak against the grain, and spoon tomato relish over top.
