Cream Cheese-Banana-Nut Bread
Classic banana nut bread gets a creamy twist. While warm bread is yummy, perfectly cut slices come after letting the bread cool 30 minutes and cutting with a serrated or electric knife.

This recipe was absolutely perfect! I added the cinnamon crisp topping and made no other adjustments. This was very easy to make and was well received by my family. My teenage son keeps coming back for more slices and I may have to find a creative place to store what’s left so it lasts a little longer. Definitely will be my go-to banana-nut bread recipe!
While this recipe was OK.....it didn't have a good "banana" flavor at all. I think I will stick to my tried and true Banana Nut Bread recipe.
This bread is delicious! I followed the recipe as stated except I may have used a little more than 1-1/2 cups of banana. I didn't measure the bananas after mashing them; I simply used four bananas. Definitely a keeper for me.
I saw this recipe recently in a Southern Living email right when I had a bunch of bananas going bad - so I decided to try it out. I've made a number of banana bread recipes over the years but was curious since this one had cream cheese in it. I am so glad I did. It was great! It was really light and moist, and I made the toasted coconut topping - my husband loved it. I can be bad sometimes about losing recipe links so my husband has already demanded that I send this one to him so he can archive it, lol.
This is the worst recipe I have ever made. I followed recipe to the “T”, simply a waste of my time & energy 🙁
I have been making this bread for over ten years. It never fails, always moist and delicious.
