Texas Mansion Famous for Its Stunning Three-Story Closet Just Hit the Market for $7 Million
If you’ve got more clothes, shoes and handbags than you know what to do with (and an extra $7,000,000) the luxurious estate at 7 Grand Regency Circle in The Woodlands, and its famous closet, is just what you need.
The 17,380-square-foot home boasts seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and jaw-dropping three-story, 3,000-square foot closet. Yes you read that right.
Theresa Roemer, an entrepreneur and former beauty pageant contestant married to oilman Lamar Roemer, reportedly spent $500,000 on the oasis. According to Realtor.com, the bright-white closet sits behind a wall of glass and is connected by a spiral staircase. It features open shelving, a crystal chandelier, Champagne bar, and a hair and makeup station.
But the home is so much more than a closet. “It’s a great house, a great family house,” listing agent Claudia Fathivand told Realtor.com. “Her closet brings a lot of attention, but to me, the house has a lot more to offer than a closet.”
She’s not kidding. It also boasts a catering kitchen, a wine room with sitting area, gym, home theater, wet bar, butler's pantry, elevator, and a stunning lap pool. The other thing it’s missing is the designer duds—unfortunately the owner plans to take those with her. Scroll down for a look inside the palatial mansion and its crazy closet:
