Later this month, Gatlinburg will host the first Smoky Mountain Bigfoot Conference. But those looking to witness some giant wildlife in Eastern Tennessee can get their fix now — in the form of watching a big bear and two cubs breaking into a family's car.

AS WITN-TV initially reported, the event occurred outside a North Carolina family's vacation rental on July 5th. "Mom! Why didn't you lock your car?!" one woman screams from inside the cabin as the incident unfolds. First, a giant bear entered the matriarch's red Prius, followed by its cubs scooting in to explore the vehicle. Then, the onlookers begin to knock on the windows of the home to try and dissuade the bears, to no avail. Thankfully, no humans or bears were hurt and the car endured no damage. Below, watch the amazing video — and don't forget to lock your car door next time you find yourself in the Great Smoky Mountains.
