The June 10th show for the Austin Community Foundation will also include James Taylor, Shawn Colvin, Vince Gill, and Patty Griffin on the lineup.

The world of summer tours, music festivals, and even informal jam sessions at your favorite local haunt may be put on pause right now—but Willie Nelson isn't about to let the coronavirus pandemic steal the joy of a good time, and a good tune.

This Wednesday, June 10, those good times and good tunes will come in the form of a "A Night for Austin," a two-hour livestream benefit concert for the Austin Community Foundation at 8 p.m. CST. For the show, Nelson will join the bill alongside other musicians including his son Lukas Nelson, Lyle Lovett, James Taylor, Norah Jones, Patty Griffin, Paul Simon, Vince Gill, Shawn Colvin and more. The night will also include special guests and Texas natives Ethan Hawke, Owen Wilson, Renée Zellweger, and Woody Harrelson.

"Paul Simon, Edie Brickell, Willie and Annie Nelson, and their teams have joined forces with Luck Reunion for a virtual event in support and celebration of the 'live music capital' of the world...Tune in for a glimpse at the faces and places that have kept this beloved city alive," a statement on the benefit concert's website reads. "The broadcast will showcase at-home performances from Paul Simon and some of his closest friends, and highlight many of the iconic venues that have contributed to Austin’s status as a renowned cultural hub."

To watch the concert, you can visit the website, tune in on Twitch.TV/luckreunion or watch locally on CBS Austin. You can make a donation to the Austin Community Foundation Fund here.

We know it's not the same as heading out to, say, RodeoHouston or South by Southwest in person, but who said you can't lace up your cowboy boots and two step the night away in your living room?
