You've no doubt heard by now that IHOP is temporarily changing its name to IHOb to prove they're just as serious about their new line of steak burgers as they are about their pancakes. (Yes, really.)

All it took was a little flip of the ‘p' in its name to create an absolute uproar on social media Monday. Unsurprisingly, people haven't been shy about voicing their opinions regarding the name change… and let's just say that the general consensus hasn't been all that positive.

Whether you love it or hate it, the seemingly bizarre stunt has managed to inspire some hilarious jokes, most notably from IHOb's competitors, who were quick to jump on the social media bandwagon.

In our opinion, one of the best came from beloved Texas-based burger chain, Whataburger, which managed to serve up the ultimate dig.

"As much as we love our pancakes, we'd never change our name to Whatapancake," the chain wrote on Facebook and Twitter.

And that, y'all, is what the kids call a mic drop.
