The couple hired the Waffle House food truck for their wedding day, and the photos are amazing.
Every day, Waffle House makes memories in the lives of so many around the South. In fact, it's such a beloved part of our culture that it's even made an appearance on Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown episode in Charleston. Waffle House hosts countless birthday parties, and the restaurant has even inspired a parody rap.
Now, we're swooning for pictures of the Norcross, Georgia-based company making a cameo at a recent Atlanta wedding. "My All-Star Special," the bride, Katherine Santa Cruz Sheely, captions a series of photos of the couple beside a Waffle House food truck at their wedding at the Atlanta Historical Society Swan House. Donning paper "WH" caps, the bride dazzles in an off-the-shoulders gown, featuring buttons down the back.
In addition to incorporating Waffle House into their wedding day, it appears the couple has a soft spot for the cherished greasy spoon year-round. For Christmas, Katherine shared a photo of the duo wearing Santa hats, as they clutched coffee mugs in a booth at Waffle House.
We can't get over how cute these photos are! Here's to hoping the reception was filled with plenty of smothered, covered, and scattered fun.
