Sure, you can gift your better half cookies, a nice bottle of wine, another boring tie. But this Valentine's Day, why not give the gift of shared travel?

Kicking off today, Amtrak will make the gift of a getaway that much more affordable with a special Valentine's Day Sale for Two. Under the promotion, individuals will be able to purchase two one-way tickets for the price of one.

According to an Amtrak press release, "Starting Thursday, Feb. 14, through Monday, Feb. 18, customers can buy one ticket and get the second one free for nationwide travel between Mar. 25 and July 29, 2019, with no blackout dates."
