Do you have tulip fever? Then you may want to consider bookmarking Poston Gardens in Waxahachie, Texas for an unforgettable trip.

While Texas may be known for bluebonnets, the state has several amazing tulip farms, as Wide Open Country recently pointed out. At Poston Gardens there are over one million different colored tulips on its sprawling 60 acres. Admission is $10 for adults ($5 for seniors and kids), and you can pick tulips for $3 each. (Note to friends: Please cut us off after the first dozen.)

Beyond instilling the area with beauty and joy, the bucolic grounds give back to its neighbor, Daymark Living, a community for adults with learning differences. Per Poston Gardens' website, a portion of proceeds from the gardens benefit those at Daymark Living.

Unfortunately, the gardens are closed for the 2019 season but you can check the website or follow Poston Gardens on Instagram @PostonGardens for updates for next year.
