So you're a Trader Joe's buff. You know exactly where to find the best Southern foods, you're an expert on what those ringing bells mean, and you can explain why their bananas are 19 cents a pop—see the video below if you don't!—to anyone that asks.

But do you know why you spot employees wearing various shirts around the store? It turns out, there's reason to the multi-colored madness. "Employee shirts have different meanings," explains Brittany Vincent in a recent piece for BestProducts.com. "Trader Joe's various employees wear different kinds of shirts. Solid shirts with hibiscus flowers on them mean you've found a regular crew member. Track down someone in a Hawaiian shirt if you need a manager."
