Jenna Bush Hager Starts New Job at 'TODAY' Show with Hoda Kotb
The hosts toasted "TODAY with Hoda & Jenna" with custom wine glasses from Texas.
It's a Monday to remember for Jenna Bush Hager, who joined Hoda Kotb this AM as co-host of the TODAY show's fourth hour.
Yesterday evening, amidst a flurry of butterflies, Jenna shared her emotions in a sweet Instagram post, writing "OMG. THIS is happening. I couldn’t be more honored and thrilled to be a part of something new. And yes, excited..and nervous in the most beautiful way. Oh, and I get to sit next to the force that is @hodakotb! Follow along with us @hodaandjenna," along with the humorous hashtags #pleaseletmesleep, #alreadyinbedandsawthis, and #screamedandwokeuphusband.
Jenna's sister, Barbara, parents Laura and George W. Bush, and mother-in-law Margaret Hager also took the time to wish her well on the first day on the gig with special video messages. Watch below.
Of course, Jenna is well aware that she'll have big shoes to fill in the coveted TODAY show role as she replaces the inimitable Kathie Lee Gifford. Recently, she shared her love for the retiring host with a thoughtful message:

Meanwhile, the duo kicked off their hosting duties this morning with a pre-show chant of "Let's Go Y'all!" and personalized wine glasses — fittingly designed by a Texan.
We can't wait to watch you grow and flourish on the "fourth hour," Jenna. It's time to cook up some rise-and-shine breakfast staples and tune in, folks.
