If you're visiting Gatlinburg's new SkyBridge this summer, you probably could do without two things: crowds and excessive heat. While we can't help on the weather front, the Knoxville News Sentinel recently revealed some helpful intel for beating the crowds.

As Maggie Jones reports, to enjoy Gatlinburg SkyLift Park without a ton of people, go early or late in the day, and opt for a weekday visit over a weekend. In addition to the SkyBridge, which closes at 8:45pm, visitors can enjoy the SkyLift scenic chairlift until the last ride departs at 10:30pm.

Below, Marcus Watson, marketing coordinator for SkyLift Park talks to the Knoxville News Sentinel about some of the park's highlights.

Another smart tip if you're planning a trip? Buy your tickets online at least two days in advance to save $2 per ticket and to skip the line. Read Knoxville News Sentinel's full article here.
