Texans, listen up. This fall, combine two of your favorite things: A train ride with a festive outing at a pumpkin patch. 

Perfect for kids, and kids at heart, the Pumpkin Patch Express operated by the Texas State Railroad, drops you off at a pumpkin patch complete with hayrides, seasonal music, games, prizes, and more. Travelers are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes to add to the festive fun. Leaving from the Rusk Train Depot in Rusk, Texas, the Pumpkin Patch Express will run on every Saturday in October with the pumpkin patch opening at 9:00 a.m. and trains departing at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m..
