Steel Magnolias Returning to Theaters for Limited Time to Celebrate 30th Anniversary
Call your girls!
Thirty years after Shelby, M'Lynn, Truvy, Annelle, Clairee and Ouiser stole our hearts for the first time, Steel Magnolias is headed back to the big screen.
That’s right, to celebrate its 30th anniversary, Fathom Events and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) are teaming up to return the beloved tale of Southern sisterhood to theaters for three days only, so hurry up and call your girls!
Steel Magnolias is one of 14 classic films being reshown in their original aspect ratio (for ultimate authenticity!) as part of the fourth annual "TCM Big Screen Classics" series. This year, other films making their triumphant return include The Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady, Hello Dolly and To Kill a Mockingbird.
