Talk about a moo-ving moment!
When Brandy Rodriguez joined her in-laws at a Fayetteville, North Carolina, Chick-fil-A for lunch last week, she expected to leave with a full stomach. The young mom-to-be never guessed she’d be also be leaving with a full heart.
The wife of a deployed soldier, Rodriguez was dining with her husband’s family when the group decided to take a photo with Chick-fil-A’s cow mascot. (The giant bovine just happened to be on hand that day.) Posing with her hands on her growing baby bump, Rodriguez couldn’t believe her eyes when the cow removed his black and white head to reveal her husband Antonio beneath it. Unbeknownst to her, the 82nd Airborne Division allowed him to come home for the birth of their first child.
“We at Chick-fil-A were so happy for the opportunity to be a part of this soldier's surprise homecoming,” the restaurant wrote alongside the video on Facebook. “We are thankful for the sacrifice our military and their families make for the freedoms that we enjoy daily.”
