Snickers Just Released New Limited-Edition Pecan Bars with a Big Texas Connection
Pe-can't wait to try them!
Americans have spoken, and what do you know… we're nuts for pecans!
Earlier this month, Snickers embarked on "The Great American Nut Search," making virtual stops in various states asking fans to choose which nut they would like to see in the next Snickers Bar. The options included cashews from Florida, pistachios from California, pecans from Texas, and macadamia nuts from Hawaii. Though each nut garnered plenty of support, it turns out fans from Texas and across the South were the most passionate.
The result? The new, limited-edition Snickers Pecan bar produced in Waco!
This Southern dream features the same caramel and milk chocolate of the classic Snickers bar, now with pecans inside.
Drooling yet? You're in luck. Beginning today, you can order a custom-curated box containing 15 Snickers Pecan bars at SnickersPecan.com. A limited number of boxes will be available for purchase while supplies last.
"We were eager to involve our fans in developing our newest flavor innovation," Josh Olken, Snickers brand director, said in a news release. "It turned out that fans from Texas and across the South are nuts about pecans and wanted to taste America's native nut in our iconic candy bar. We hope our fans are as excited to try the limited-edition Snickers Pecan bar as we are proud to produce them right in our Waco plant."
