As the coronavirus crisis continues, we're doing two things: Staying home to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe, and looking for as many sources of joy as we can from the comfort of the couch.

One such beacon of light, and, well, color? Flowers. The world may be on pause, but it lifts our spirits to see that nature always perseveres. If we don't have our own yard, even when viewed through our screens, beautiful blooms give us a much appreciated dose of tranquility. Recently, we've eWandered our way through these Southern botanical gardens and kept tabs on the bucolic Biltmore Estate's spring evolution in Asheville (see our video below).

Now, we're excited to partake in some virtual experiences from out west courtesy of some amazing farms in Washington State who make up the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Though this year's festival was cancelled, we were pleased to learn via Country Living that we can still experience the event virtually. Read on to see more from some of the participating tulip farms.

First, the majestic Roozengaarde has shared regular updates on Instagram and several Facebook videos so we can experience the tulips even if we can't visit. You can also see videos of tourists visiting the gardens on YouTube.

We've also loved tracking the tulips blooming in real time with Floret Flowers and seeing video updates on Facebook. We could spend all day getting lost in these fields, for sure.

Meanwhile, at Tulip Town, virtual guests have been treated to regular photos, as well as Facebook videos. How gorgeous is the snap below?

Spring has indeed sprung. We know how grateful we'll be to experience nature's wonders firsthand. Until then, if only our computer screens could capture smell.
