One Secret Service Agent Provides Homeless Man A Small But Powerful Gift
The agent acted without any hope of recognition, and that makes him a true hero.
One photojournalist found himself in the right place at the right time on Monday, and was able to snap a few photos of a touching moment between two unlikely individuals: a secret service agent and a homeless man.
Just one block away from the White House, Fox 5 DC's Van Applegate watched as a secret service bike officer delivered a hot meal to a homeless man who was sleeping outside St. John's Church in Washington, D.C.
"@SecretService bike officer drops of hot meal to homeless man sleeping outside St. John's Church, a block from the White House. Day made." Applegate wrote on Twitter alongside two photos of the agent subtly helping the man.
