We just love this!

After a decade of dating, Gilmore Girls fans were thrilled to see Lorelai and Luke finally say "I do" in the Netflix revival of the beloved series, A Year in the Life.

If you're still wondering about what the future has in store for the longtime lovebirds, you're not alone. Luckily, Scott Patterson, the actor who plays Luke, is willing to share his predictions.

"I think we will obviously be together," he told Us Weekly recently.

"These two — we're going to end up in our 90s — and I hate to sound morbid but it's going to be one of those things where we are so connected that once (I die) then she is going to pass one minute later. It's going to be the ultimate romantic ending for us. And I hate to even put that out there because I think these two are so eternal and so universal," he continued.

But first, Patterson thinks Luke needs to concentrate on his career.

"In 10 years, I really think he is still going to be running that diner," he revealed. "He may have a couple of other franchises at that point and be a big time CEO. I think he will still be doing the same thing because that's Luke; he's got to pay the bills."

And the most exciting part? He thinks they'll have children.

"I think that they are going to have a child, I do," he assured. "I always thought they would."

No word on if we will get to see it all play out in another Netflix special, but either way, we like this storyline. We like it very much!
