Mrs. Santa Claus is coming to town!

Christmas came early in the Witherspoon family this year when Reese's mom, Betty Reese, played Mrs.Santa Claus over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

"You guys I wanted to tell you merry Christmas and then I also wanted to show you somebody," Witherspoon begins a short video clip on Instagram. "Merry Christmas! Hi!" chimes in mama Betty. "This is Mrs. Claus," Witherspoon adds, before Betty follows with a "yeah," and an affirmative nod. To caption the series of videos and photos, Witherspoon writes, "How cute is my mom Betty? [S]he is playing Mrs. Claus at the Holiday Fair. Spreading Holiday cheer! Gotta love her smiling face and joyful attitude!"

Wearing a bright red mop cap with a red scarf, white apron with red trim, and clutching a red tartan plaid blanket, Betty looks every bit the festive part sitting beside a holiday spread of wrapped presents, "Santa's Mail Box," and decorated Christmas trees. In some of the photos, Betty is joined by grandchildren Deacon and Tennessee, all striking a pose on Mrs.Claus' throne.
