The Pioneer Woman is hard at work on a new cookbook, and we can't wait to see the finished product.

For now, a little glimpse at some behind-the-scenes action will have to do, as Drummond was kind enough to share a snapshot from the production of her hitherto untitled book. Today, she posted a gorgeous photo of chips, salsa verde, and salsa roja in a woven basket perched beside some fresh flowers. There's also a crisp cloth napkin wedged underneath the salsas that we would gladly buy ten of pronto.

"Kicked off shooting my new cookbook yesterday with salsa verde and salsa roja. Forget mascara, forget my cell phone---if I were stranded on a desert island, this would be my one necessity," Drummond captioned the photo. "And by 'one,' I mean this one whole basket. (I might sneak mascara in there under the napkin...)"

In July, Drummond posted on her blog the exciting cookbook news with a call-out for input from her devoted fans. "I have a new cookbook coming out next fall (October 2019), and I'm getting ready to jump in and start the fun. But as I'm organizing thoughts and recipe ideas, I wanted to include you in the brainstorm by asking, in a nutshell: What would you like to see in the next PW cookbook?" she wrote on The Pioneer Woman blog, befor asking for reader advice in a variety of categories.
