There's never a dull moment on the Drummond Ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Now, us fans get to see more glimpses of real-life in The Pioneer Woman's household than ever.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, filming for Drummond's Food Network show, The Pioneer Woman, has screeched to a halt in an effort to slow the spread of the virus and keep non-essential workers safe at home. With Drummond's kids at The Ranch, however, it's provided the perfect opportunity for her children to keep The Pioneer Woman ship afloat and step in as the ad hoc film crew.

Earlier this week, Drummond took to Instagram to share some thoughts on her kids taking the reins and share some humorous words about filming right now. "This Saturday begins a four-week run of self-shot episodes of my @foodnetwork show. It’s sort of like a miniseries, but without the drama and intrigue. Unless you consider my catching a spoon on fire to be dramatic and intriguing," she wrote alongside a photo of her daughter Alex hard at work during a kitchen scene. "I am enjoying the process of handing my kids the equipment then just letting the cooking chips fall where they may! 'Staying Home: Episode 2' is on this Saturday morning at 10am/9c! Hope it makes you smile (or laugh uncomfortably? Ha.)"

Ready to tune in this weekend? We know we're looking forward to comfort food on our screens to nourish our minds and spirits with the same sense of relief and joy.

Throughout quarantine, Drummond has been kind enough to share a handful of easy-to-make recipes on her social media platforms. We hear her five-minute chocolate mug cake pairs pretty well with Saturday morning's episode.

Heck, during these trying times, we hear chocolate mug cake pairs well with just about anything. Especially a bubble bath and glass of vino.
