Whether you're looking to spruce up your home before putting it on the market or simply hoping to give your abode a bit more pizazz, the kitchen is an excellent place to start.

On a recent episode, called "Las Vegas Classic," of HGTV's Property Brothers: Forever Home, Drew and Jonathan Scott shared some brilliant intel for upgrading your kitchen without breaking the bank: Just add color.

As Realtor.com recently explains in a piece by Lisa Johnson Mandell, your kitchen can really benefit from the addition of bold color. "The kitchen backsplash is a vibrant opportunity to add pops of color," Drew Scott says in the show, though that's not an excuse to adorn the entire backsplash in attention-grabbing hues. "Make your statement behind the range," he adds. In this case, the Scott brothers opted for a beautiful blue, yellow, and white tile design.

In the episode, Jonathan Scott also adds visual interest to the kitchen by painting the kitchen cabinets blue, which is another easy way to breathe new life into your kitchen without breaking the bank. Read the full article on Realtor.com here.
