Princess Charlotte is turning two, and got a fancy new photo to commemorate the milestone. The adorable picture, taken in April by her mother, Kate Middleton, shows the princess at the family's home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk, the BBC reports.

"The Duke and Duchess are delighted to share a new photograph of Princess Charlotte to mark her second birthday tomorrow," Kensington Palace tweeted early Monday along with a photo of little Charlotte sitting in a field of hay. Dressed in a sweet yellow and blue knitted sweater and smirking ever so slightly, we can't help but notice the two-year-old's uncanny resemblance to her great-grandmother (and honorary Southerner), Queen Elizabeth.

Shortly after sharing the photo, the royal family followed up with another tweet, thanking everyone for the kind words and wishes for the toddler. "TRH would like to thank everyone for the lovely messages they have received & hope that everyone enjoys this photograph as much as they do,"

According to the BBC, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to throw a birthday party for the princess, who officially turns two years old tomorrow, May 2.
