You Can Host Private Parties in The Pioneer Woman's Mercantile Event Space
You already know Ree Drummond's The Pioneer Woman Mercantile in Pawhuska, Oklahoma is the holy mecca of all things Ree. If you've visited the Food Network star's general store, you likely grabbed a meal at "The Merc's" restaurant, bakery, or walked over to Drummond's local pizzeria, P-Town Pizza. Perhaps you even booked a night at Ladd and Ree's swanky hotel, the 2018 debut, The Pioneer Woman Boarding House. In warmer months, we hope your itinerary revolves around stopping by Charlie's Sweet Shop for a scoop of ice cream—chased with nostalgia and throwback candy. And you took a The Lodge on Drummond Ranch tour, right? Clearly, there's no shortage of local attractions to visit in Drummond's ever-growing Pawhuska empire.
But did you know you can throw a private party in Drummond's event center? On the same block as The Merc, the event space may not be heavily advertised, but it's a boon if you're looking to throw a special event in Pawhuska, or are simply eating with a group of more than 15 people. In a recent Instagram post on the Pioneer Woman Mercantile account, Drummond's team showcased a peek inside the space and some of their design capabilities for a festive gathering.
"We have a super neato event center two doors down from The Merc, and it's the spot of many a celebration (and group event). If you're interested in hosting a party of your own, just email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule! We love to party around here!" the caption on the post reads. Clearly, fans of Drummond were thoroughly impressed with the event center, commenting with many "beautiful" replies and one commenter even noting, "If I didn’t live in the UK and could afford your stunning place I would be booking it for a wedding party."
The event room holds around 200 people and the event team can offer guests catering options from a variety of set menus. If those menus don't fit your needs, they can also create custom menus. For breakfast experiences, set menu options include "Edna Mae's Pancakes Buffet" with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, crispy bits, bottomless coffee, and orange juice, for $25 per person. For dinner experiences, $45 per person gets you spinach dip, olive cheese bread, Greek salad, Caesar salad, chicken parmesan, pasta marinara, green beans, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, garlic bread, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, and assorted pastries.
Rental rates depend on the catering you select but typically there is no extra rental fee and the party's entire cost is covered under the catering fee. As specified in the Instagram post, if you want more information about booking a private event, you can email email@example.com for scheduling details, rates, and more.
Bachelorette party, birthday party, college reunion...the possibilities for fun at The Merc's event space are endless. Now it's just up to you to decide if your group would rather feast on cinnamon rolls or chocolate sheet cake.
