Pillsbury Baking Releases New Funfetti Llama and Mermaid Frostings

This year may go down in history books as the Year of Coronavirus, but in our books, we prefer to call it the Year of Baking Everything. Cakes, pies, cookies, cobblers, crisps, crumbles, buckles, and slumps. Yes, that's us, and you can find us hunched over the oven from here to eternity during these long, lugubrious days.

And like a needle needs thread and a garden needs water, what do baked goods need? Icing. Lots and lots of icing. And what could be more fun than, well, Funfetti? That's why we were thrilled when we heard from the folks at Pillsbury Baking that two new Funfetti products have arrived, Funfetti Mermaid Pink Strawberry Frosting and Funfetti Llama Love Purple Vanilla Frosting.

The first Strawberry frosting in the Funfetti collection, Funfetti Mermaid Pink Strawberry Frosting contains white shell-shaped sprinkles, purple mermaid tail-shaped sprinkles, and blue and silver sprinkles to complete the colorful icing. Meanwhile, Funfetti Llama Love Purple Vanilla Frosting takes vanilla frosting to llama-shaped sprinkles, yellow jimmies and purple and blue sequin sprinkles. Prices range from $1.30-$2.50 each. We predict a lot of cupcakes and cakes in our future.
